Q. When I register with Tough Mudder, there’s an option to raise funds for Wounded Warrior. Is that the same as Tough as Her?
A. No, Tough as Her is a different charity than Wounded Warrior. To raise money for women and girls fighting their way out of poverty, make sure you raise funds on your Tough as Her page: Link to login.
Q. I have people pledging money and cheques in support. How and when should I send that in?
A. Your first step is to enter all of your pledges into your online Tough as Her fundraising centre.
Then send in your donations and cheques to World Relief Canada (our parent organization) at this address:
PO Box 3220 Stn Industrial Park
If you have multiple cash donations, please keep them separated by paper clips, rubber bands, or any creative means you come up with. Remember to also include the donors name, total gift amount, and mailing address so we can send them proper receipts for tax season.
And don’t forget to thank your donors!
Q. I don’t have a Tough Mudder event near me, but there are other mud runs and obstacle course races that I could sign up for. Can I raise funds for Tough as Her and still participate in other events?
A. Yes, absolutely! Send us an email (link) or give us a call (1-800-567-8191) and we’ll get you all setup to help raise funds for those who need it most!
Q. When will I get my tax receipts?
A. All tax receipts will be mailed at the start of next year.
Q. I’m not 18 and I can’t register for Tough Mudder. Can I still raise money for Tough as Her?
A. Of course! We believe that youth aren’t the leaders of tomorrow, they’re the leaders of today. And we’d love for you to lead your own fundraiser!
